What’s on the Shop Keeper’s Christmas List?
Part Two:
Jodie
Food Mill
What Jodie says:
“This year’s tomato crop is looking very healthy (far too many for summer salads), so why not cook them up to use next winter as passata sauce? Yum!
GEFU’S German-made food mill will make short work of those tomatoes.”
Gauze Handkerchief
What Jodie says:
“What could be nicer on the nose than a Japanese gauze handkerchief? It’s that simple!”
Salad Servers
What Jodie says:
“You can never have too many salad server sets, can you? With a healthy supply of salad vegetables coming in from the garden, these servers will be in high demand all summer. I’m definitely adding these to my Christmas list.”
Secateurs
What Jodie says:
“There is always something in the garden that needs a trim or tidy up, and it’s about time I invested in a pair of quality Japanese snips to make these jobs so much easier. (Not much strength left in these hands.) I’ll have the garden looking Heirloom-worthy in no time.”
Deba Knife
What Jodie says:
“This knife will fill the last spot in my collection. There’s nothing like having the right tools for the job. This Deba will be a great little knife for slicing the ham on Christmas Day.”
Linen Photo Album
What Jodie says:
“A digital photo gallery on your phone just isn’t the same as a thoughtfully collected album of physical images. Plus, my first granddaughter has just arrived. So this album should last me until - oh I’d say - at least the middle of January…"
